So I am going to be putting in an order with Nils this sunday when his shop opens. I am wondering if anyone can help suggest the amount of sleeve I will need for a corsair AX750 as a first timer. I really don't want to have to do the measurements myself.

Is 30 meters of sleeve and 3 meters of heatshrink about right?

I am really confused about doing the sata power cables on what I need to do that properly.

30 meters should be fine. I'd grab the pre-cut heatshrink though. Makes it quite a bit easier to sleeve. That is if you are using the regular sleeving method, and not the shrinkless. If you are going shrinkless than regular uncut heatshrink is best.

Does anyone know where I can buy 16AWG Hook Up UL1007 Approved Wire - Black - FrozenCPU.com or 18AWG Hook Up UL1007 Approved Wire - Black - FrozenCPU.com in Canada? All I can get from google search is ugly clear speakerwire. I would prefer not to have to deal with custom/duty fees and high shipping cost. I am going to re do all my cables to custom length for near perfect cable management. :D

Princess Auto sells 100' spools of 18AWG wire for $15. They also sell 16AWG 100' spools for $17. You don't want to use 16AWG for a PSU though. Not if sleeving anyways.

Thanks a bunch lowfat. That will save me lots of money. My corsair cables are labelled 16awg but it is ok to use 18 anyways? They have a different size diameter?

The different sizes are rated for different amperage. If the PSU is already using 16awg, I would only use 16awg. Then you don't have anything to worry about.

Thanks Tim_H. I think I am going to switch power supplies as I have read some of the Silverstone Strider series are a bit easier for a first timer like me :)

Yes. But I wouldn't buy yellow unless you are using yellow sleeving. Yellow wire will definitely show through.
