Nope. They're not paracord. Not even nylon. It's ultra-dense high quality weaved fabric we call Nano Sleeve. (From your picture, our cable is more dense)
Nice comparison. 6 pin VGA vs 2 pin USB cable

so many unusual uses of the prefix nano these days...

the USB was the easiest to remove from my case.

for sure the sleeve on Bitfenix is more dense. feels like cloth.
whereas the Darkside is glossy and plastic feeling.

... it hasn't fallen apart btw... but all it does is sit there.

Newest MDPC-X colour called 'shade 19'. Definitely my favourite sleeve colour I've yet to see.

And a picture showing the difference between titanium grey, black, then shade 19 at the bottom.

I've got a question regarding choosing sleeving sizes. for instance, when I go to a website and i see a bunch of different sizes for sleeve and there are always a few of them that say they are good for single sleeved power cables, or something like that. So how do you know what size to use for fan wires, usb/front panel cables, power cables or sata cables?

Single 18AWG wires & fan wire use ~4mm sleeve. I use the SATA sleeve for everything else, which is ~ 9mm.

Everything else I'm guessing includes, front panel connectors, fan cables and obviously SATA, anything else?
I'll be putting my order in today on mdpc-x since I've got most of my parts...

I purchased the sleeved cable set from corsair. They just arrived with some other mod/wc goodies. As soon as my digi cam is charged up I will take some pictures of them. The sleeveing is quite different. It is a very loose weave but tight sleeve that you can see the wire behind it. They used a blue sleeve overtop a blue wire. They are actually quite nice. I still like the look of the bitfenix alchemy a bit more though.

Fan cables use the small sleeve (~4mm). SATA, front panel audio, USB, etc use SATA.

USB3.0 though... That requires the 'jumbo' sleeve to make it over the connector.
