Hmm. They look pretty good together. Is it the 2mm stuff in the picture, and it is the exact same size as the MDPC-X?

was 4mm in the picture and is just a hair bigger than mdpc


I tried a 6 pin with 2mm heatshrinkless the other day and was cursing how small it is altho no probs getting it into the connector

how much sleeving do you generally need for a psu?

i know i need some headroom, just trying to get an estimate

ill be using mdpc-x

I used roughly 100ft for a 24-pin atx, 8 pin eps, 6 pin gpu, and some molex and sata cables.

Damn, a hundred ft? did you have a lot of waste or were these cables just insanely long? lol

I use on average about 50-70ft of sleeve for a psu.
Add in some Sata sleeve. and you're good.

I'd say around 30 meters is a good place to start. Just a 24 pin, 8 pin EPS, 8 pin pcie, and 6 pin pcie is going to be 70 feet assuming you are using stock wires.

I measured up and calculated every wire in the silverstone pp05 cable set came out to 120 ft so i ordered 150 to have some for fan wires

if using all wires in the long set would be closer to 200 ft with 4 pci_e cables and all sata's,4 pin molex's little xtra for pilot error never hurt
