Default Card Reader

A have a new build that my friend did for me. The case comes with a integrated card reader(Im a photog, I use it a lot) but he was unable to connect it to the motherboard. The motherboard is the Asus Maximus Gene V. The computer is working fine. Can someone guide me where I can look to see where on the MB it needs to be connected? Thanks in advance.
(he kept looking at the manual, but could not figure it out, maybe he rushed it)

this is the case GS-6400R - Arvina - Sentey

My System Specs

It should look up to one of the USB headers on the motherboard. It may be only 5 pins (with one keyed), so install it on just the one half of the USB header.
