Haha thanks B! I'm not sure if it'll be good enough for the cover of HWC's facebook page though. There are a ton of way nicer rigs lurking this in this section of the forums.

Nope. They're UV.

I see what you mean. I tested one to check out how the tubing glows (which looks deadly by the way!) and the cathode I picked has a very bad connection. Maybe 2 or 3 strands of wire to carry the current. It got hot really fast.
I'm taking the kit to work tomorrow. I'm going to try and "rebuild" the connectors if I get time. Maybe disassemble them and re-solder, maybe try something entirely different..... not sure yet.

The Rust Check paint stuck to the fan blades well. Hopefully it won't peel or anything in the future. I'm sure they'll be fine though seeing that stuff was designed to even stick to rust.

Ugh, 2:30am.... I'm going to be toast tomorrow. This better be worth it.

Quick update!!

I took the dremel to the bracket like Lowfat suggested in another thread. (Thanks again for the idea!)
Fits like a glove.

Now ladies and gents, it's leak testing time! Ya there were a few to deal with.
But easily solved by paying more attention to the fitment of the compression fittings on the different components. For example I HAD to use the barbs that came with the Enzotech block. I HAD to use a 45 degree fitting off the top of the GPU block because of the proximity of the PCB to the fitting.... etc.
All sorted out though and all looks good and dry.

First casualty so far in this project are my trusty wire strippers. I broke them cutting #8 machine screws to mount the bottom 120 rad. Gotta deal with that first thing in the AM. I have to install a 2-way radio into a water truck in the steel plant at 9am.

Time for bed!!

i agree that the rig Lowfat posted is boss and should win cover statis but i read that Sam is kicking around an idea for HWC's system of the month. i think that your rig is not only very creative but it's also purdie. if Sam's idea does come to fruition then you've got my vote! btw: nice photos.

Finally done! I'm used to build a complete rig in a few hours..... not days. But it's been fun and especially doing this build log along the way. It looks WICKED too!! Idle temps for CPU and GPU are 24 and 32 C. I can't wait to OC the CPU to 4+ GHz and do some gaming to see how the temps are under load. I'm REALLY loving the bios for the Crosshair V too. Very nice and easy to use.

Anyhow, I thought I'd post some some teaser pics before I head off to bed. I'll take some better ones tomorrow night.
