I don't use optical drives in any of my builds. My media server has one for ripping media. But even my laptop has had it's optical drive replaced for a SSD in a caddy.

I was planning on putting my HDDs in the optical bay.

As I stated earlier... put the drives on the bottom floor of the chassis. Couple holes drilled, couple rubber grommets and done.

The case is 7" wide and I think a 360 might be 1 inch too long to fit in the case I might have to go to a 240 rad with the possibility of a 120 in the front intake.

I don't blame you. Even though I have no need for a waterblock I still would have bought it at that price. I'm sure it will serve you well.

I would do well... what I did with my full sized case already. I mounted externally on the back side of the case, the mod was a simple 3 snips with some tin snips on the back panel to fit the hoses, and support bolt through. My rad is vertical, but with that small case, it would have to be horizontal but would still work fine. Also no hinging, and super long hoses to account for moving the rad, just my 2 cents.

Just an idea, but how about mount the power supply above the cpu like the in the sugo sg04 and put the rad up top? Not sure if it's even possible but that might even let you get away with a full atx mobo

That's a great Idea but I'd pretty much have to remake the back of the case from scratch and I don't have the tools or knowledge to make that work.
