well i got my piece of smoked lexan for the window, but i cannot afford to get the custom lighting made or do anything other than the window. the front will also be staying the same, i will be cutting the window in tomorow afternoon once i pickup some tape to mark my cuts on.

The bitumen usually can be taken off with mineral spirits or acetone (nail polish remover). Little known fact you can remove permenant marker with acetone as well! makes writing notes on glass really easy!

IMO a window is the biggest thing missing from this case. Really looking forward to seeing the finished product.

I like the R3 as is (windowless) for my application as its a server box and needs the sound damping material. So i 100% disagree with SlickEnuf4U, a window for this case defeats the purpose of its features.

Kyle i do like what your doing, your mods are awesome keep it up!!

i do to, and now that im building up my lian li case and have have a g41 mobo and q8200 coming for this so i can have a file server i dont think i need to cut a window into it. i think i might just wrap it in carbon fibre and call it done.
