Nevermore: WaterCooled Raven 1 Attachment(s) Hey HWC, I'm embarking on a journey of discovery, doing my first watercooling project and I'm pretty pumped up about it. I'm going to be slightly modding my Silverstone Raven02-ew case to fit a 180x3 rad to cool my existing hardware and I hope I can document my progress in a way that will be entertaining and helpful for people who may want to do something similar. Here is a size comparison for a 3x120 vs a 3x180: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...124_london.jpg For those interested the component list: xfx 750w psu i7 2600k gigabyte p67a-ud4 16gb g.skill ripjaw-x black pcb/black heatspreader 1600mhz MSI gtx570 x2 SLI Azentech Bravura G.skill phoenix pro 120gb(<3 AkG) WD black 640gb x 2 Case: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...6-52-09_65.jpg Internals: http://www.hardwarecanucks.com/forum...1&d=1325286779 Watercooling parts: Coming soon |
My first w/c was also my last. It was fun as hell but damn expensive! I love the white motif, gonna be sweet. |

I almost feel like buying myself an FT02 because that radiator is so bauce. It is just so damn huge. |
Good to hear you finally got all/most of your stuff! |
So tempted to do a similar build, but I'll patiently await the Cosmos II and Muderbox MKII before deciding... Have fun! I'll be keeping on eye on the progress :thumb: |
Hrmmmm.... just a rough calculation of fan sizes X 3 suggests that theres twice the cooling area on that rad compared to a 3X 120 version.... that's pretty impressive considering that a 3 X 120 is already a formidable cooling force...... |
