Good work, I wish I had a place to build a test bench for my folder build which is in progress .
I am curious is the lower tray more for stability or to hold other things. I have actually never seen a test bench before :-}

What is that aluminum tube called? Or what section would it be in at home depot?

NI3 - near the hardware aisle like where the screws and nuts and bolts are. I used square tubing, 90* Angles and flat pieces.

Both pieces cut and polished(he did something else I cant remember though) were $20CDN Total, it’s 1/4" thick 14”x16” x 2,
I bought my Pieces here: archerplastics.com I think $20 bones all in was a great deal, hence the sponsor mention for him.
For a comparison I looked at a few retailers that sell it:

MNPC

1/8" thick cast acrylic. 24" x 12" Acrylic Sheet, $19.99USD Smoked

Clear & Colored Computer Case Windows

Performance PCS

A.C. Ryan Acrylic Panel™ 1/8” thick – 18.89”x18.89” Smoked 19.95USD

A.C. Ryan AcrylPanel™ 3mm - 480x480mm Black [ACR-AP3411] : Performance-PCs.com, ... sleeve it and they will come

way easier, but a bit more expensive, and lower quality of products (particle board vs plexiglass) and no feeling of self accomplishment ha ha.

** Update, i now have the well nuts to make the motherboard standoffs, just need to order motherboard so i can get hole spacing right.

I was always under the impression people don't use plexi because of static?
