Wow, I cant wait to see the results.
I'd really like to know how cool you get those 580s.
This is just amazing.

I wouldnt do a 590 if I were you. They are not good OCers.
If you want a 2 slot setup the 6990 will get you better performance and OCing at lower temps than the 590.
590's dont have enough powerphases to run high clocks so they have been known to go POP if you push too hard.. By all means if you want Nvidia go for it but just don't expect massive OC.
Swapping from AMD to Nvidia I have to say I like having control of SLI profiles again and heaps of AA options that you dont get with AMD plus the drivers install and run cleaner with less issues from what I've seen.
My last SLI setup was 2x8800ultras then went Quadfire 4870x2 x 2 > Quadfire 2x 5870 + 5970 > QuadSLI GTX 580.

2 Rads is only just going to be enough, and with the CPU in the loop your CPU OC will suffer a bit as water temps will hit 40c. My last quadfire watercooled loop ran GPUs at 50-55c max with water temp 40c. Thats with 2x D5 pumps and 2 x GTX 360 rads and the fans you see in my rig at 2000RPM. ( I have 2 loops with 2 x GTX 360 rads 2x D5 each loop)
Forgot to thank you for this information. Awesome build progress so far.

Got the laptop cardexpress to external PCIe kit today so I'll post a new thread over weekend on my experiences.

Oh and I've successfully drilled and tapped the Res for the AC Tubemeter. Post pics laterz!

Here's the pics of the Aquacomputer Tubemeter installed in the Koolance 452x2 Res. Finishing the 2nd res tonight.

I've got all the rads mounted and test fitted the bay devices to make sure everything fits and reaches. It all looks much much better than before!

I'll post some pics later.

Ok almost done.
Just have 1 more GPU cable to do as more black 16awg wire only arrived yesterday.
A couple more cables to sleeve including the front panel controls and a couple 12v runs for the power board in the middle.
Mount the SSD cradle and sleeve.
And re-crimp all the sensors.
Fit blocks and tubing.
Im expecting the blocks to arrive late next week.

Here's the beast almost complete, everything fits as planned with minimal cables visible!!!

Incredible build. Can you tally up the cost for us when you are done?

Not much to report, but Im halfway through doing this son of a biatch Aquaero 5 XT and PA2s! Not as neat as my other stuff but its just so damn fiddly!!

and..

Pulled the fans off a GTX580 tonight to check the die size against the i7 and see if the indigo extreme will fit.

Looks pretty good to me! The heat spreader on the 580 is slightly bigger which is safer than if it's too small! Also the actual GPU die is only about 60% of the size of the heat spreader so the hottest area will get full coverage.

I'll know soon if its a fail or not... I expect my blocks this week and I can now use my laptop with the new external PCIe slot to reflow the indigo extreme on the GPU.

580 with heatspreader removed. (not mine!)

The candidates...

I made a list of things left to do... as much as I do there still seems to be so much left to do!
Shorten and Sleeve Sata Cables
Make and Sleeve SSD power cables
Drill holes to Mount the SSD cradle
Make and sleeve a long USB cable for Aquaero
Make and sleeve 2 x MB Molex cables for extra GPU PCIE power
Make and sleeve 2nd 8pin CPU cable
Sleeve 2x tubemeter cables
Make and sleeve molex to SATA power cable for DVD
Make and seeve SATA data cable for DVD
Paint DVD black
Paint SLI bridge
Remove stickers from PSUs
Sleeve exhaust fans
Ducting/cable mounts and secure long cable runs
Terminate the temp sensors
Mount/sleeve 3 x UV light bars

Install/Mount the blocks.. if they ever arrive
Reflow the Indigo Xtreme
Run the tubing, fill, bleed and leak test
Reprogram the controller for the new config
Im exhausted just thinking about it!
