Default Picture posting guidelines

Just wondering if there are picture posting guidelines on this forum. The ones I'm used to have a 800x600 limit on resolution and a 100k limit on size. I've been posting 800x600 so far but haven't worried about size, though they usually end up not too far from 100k after being resized.

On my monitors the 800x600's look like big thumb nails but I know when using lower res monitors that too large pics are a pain as the mess up the rest of the thread.

So what should I be doing?

If you are using the HWC VB Image host the rules for size are as follows:

Max image size allowed: 1024 KB
Max image dimension allowed: 1024 x 768
