800D Watercooled Build - Poseidon
 

Hey all,

Thought I would finally share my watercooled build with everyone now that it is essentially done. This is my first time watercooling. I still plan on doing some cable sleeving as well as OC'ing the CPU/GPU's a bit more but other than that i am happy with the way it turned out.

I don’t have a build log but I could go into a lot of detail in regards to how I selected my parts and how the build went if you have any questions. I am a long time watercooling lurker at these forums, NCIX, and xtreme systems. The only modding I had to do was the bottom of the 800D in order to accommodate the 240 RAD.

Current Temps
CPU (34C IDLE – 46C Gaming – 56C Prime95 - 61C LINX)
GPU (34C IDLE – 42C Gaming – 44C 3D Mark - 44C Heaven)
Avg Ambient – 21C

This is uber build.

One tip. I assume you have BP yellow mesh on the top. Take it off and check your temps. I got 2c down when I removed mesh from my fans.

That is a very nice build. I don't do watercooling but I know what I like when I see it. Good job!

I didn't end up putting in the BP yellow mesh. I was originally going to put it on the bottom underneath the MCR 220 RAD but 1) it was the wrong size, and 2) I didn't need it since i ended up just doing a pull configuration for that one.

The top MCR 320 RAD just has the stock 800D grill on top. I thought about changing it to make temps a bit better but didn't want to mod the case anymore than i had too.
