SB P67 + Eyefinity
 

Some of you might have read a thread a few days back whining about how the Cougar Point recall screwed me. Well I succeeded in getting a mother board with the help of a few of you and have successfully finished the build.

Just thought I'd share as it is my first eyefinity build. Pictures are a little dark so cable management is hard to see but everything is sleeved in black and hidden away except the front panel wires.

Motherboard: Gigabyte P67A-UD7
Processor: Core i5 2500k Stable @ 4.2GHz
Memory: 8GB GSkill Ripjaws 1600
Video: XFX HD6970
HDD: Crucial 128GB Real SSD, Western Digital Black 1TB HDD
PSU: Corsair Pro AX850
Case: HAF-X
Optical: Asus 24xDVDRW
Monitor: Acer 243HL x3 Eyefinity
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64

I got the 2500 to 4.2 with no issues, a few minor voltage increases for protection, minor overclock on video card as well. Ran IntelBurnTest as well as Prime over 2 hours and she performed flawlessly. Apologies for crappy cell phone pics.

Currently I've only run BFBC2, CSS, and L4D. All run great, the source engine games I can run fully cranked up with 4xAA and still hit over 200FPS. BFBC2 on medium and I think 2xAA I got just over 60FPS. Next step is Xfire as I want to crank BC2 on high :P

Keep out of the bottem 4 Stata 3.o ports and you should be laghing.

How is your mobo treating you?
Mine tends to not like bios adjustments. Requiring me to completely power down after any adjustment, and even then sometimes resetting the bios on me for no apparent reason.
