Default Computer Case 'skateboard'

Not directly a case mod. But useful for moving a case around easily. Came in handy during the hot weather to reposition the case for better airflow.

Material: 5/4 pine scrap (1 1/8" thick) cut to width and length to fit the case.

The 3 holes were cut to match the bottom of a CM 690 II case, with the largest under the PSU. The 2 smaller holes were cut out with a hole saw and drill press. The largest hole was cut with a scroll saw, but a jig saw would work as well.

Wheels are standard double wheel but any type of caster could be used.

Looks pretty handy, if I had my computer on a hardwood floor or anolium (sp) but I got it sitting on my desk under me :)

Agree. Mine is on two ceramic tiles on my carpeted floor but great idea nonetheless.
