Looks good. I saw in your other thread you pumping out over 120k ppd? Is that just the 16 cores or does the -bigadv make that big of a difference?

It is doing over 145k now. It is 12 cores + hyperthreading. Bigadv makes a huge difference. Without bigadv I only get ~ 60k - 85k depending on the work unit.

Do the heat sinks work better in pull or is that just to clear RAM ?

Looks nice. the qualty of your builds is realy good.

I am not sure if it is the fans or the heatsinks. But if I have the fans pushing there is almost no airflow coming out the other side.

I'm pretty sure it's the heatsink design, it all comes out the sides for me and temps are perfectly fine. Adding a second one in push/pull turns the Megahalems into a whistle/tuning fork. (at least in my case)

Congrats Lowfat! It is an accomplishment to get the SR-2 in a mid tower, and have it looking that clean as well.

O it definitely does whistle. Maybe I'll turn throwing them on the other direction later on. If it doesn't affect temps then I'll keep it that way.
