Default Want to build a bench table, but where do I buy these?

Where can I buy legs/stands to separate the trays? I know I could find some wood, but I do not like how it would work. Would prefer some sort of plastic/delrin/metal if at possible.

Home Depot.

Look for outdoor electrical wire tubing, in either metal or plastic.

edit: why not copper tubing?

Well pretty sure you can find in any hardware shop some PVC tube that would work. They will need some paint tho.

Hi lowfat, what are the sizes. You could go aluminum tube for the spacers. How tall for the legs.

They are hollow. I guess I could get some w/ threaded ends so I can through caps on them. Then drill through them to secure the acrylic in place.

Use your imagination. Building this is easy, just got to know what end product look and finish you want.

I'd use hardwood dowels, paint them and screw in the acrylic. Easiest way.

This was done on the cheap, but you can probably find a way to "pretty it up".

I am now back to thinking about just using wood. It sure would be easier to attach them in to place. Then I'll just wrap them up in this brushed aluminum film.

Threaded rod, few 1/2" plastic tubing pieces, washers and nuts and away ya go.

Would end up something like this :
