Default DD MITX Tower Build ~watercooled~*restart*

A little background
This will be my 2nd pc build to date. My first was in a sugo sg05 with a coolit eco cooling an i5 750 (stock clocks ) on a dfi mitx board together with a gtx 465 on stock cooling. Putting all of that gear into a small box was tough since I had 2 hdd’s and an optical drive in it.
This build will be done with the same components but in a different case altogether; the danger den lan rig 450w version and both the cpu and gpu will be under water. This gives me slightly more room to work with.I hope....

A Lot of Gear In A small Tower

Main Components

-Mobo: DFI p55-t36
-CPU: Core i5 750
-GPU:PnY gtx 465
-HDD:2x 2.5" 500GB hdd, 1x ssd

Somewhat Budget WC
-swiftech mcr220 qpres
-mcw60
-apogee xt
-ek ddc dual top white acetal
-scythe gt's 1450rpm push/pull

Fit Testing

Test fitting the mobo, gpu and radiator in case.

The radiator barely fits with about 4mm clearance at the top...phew...

Looks good, but are you really confident about carrying around a water cooled setup all the time? I'd be a little hesitant. :P

Yea... I actually dont lan very much (once or twice a month ). This rig will be my main rig actually and I might also get into folding so as not to put the 470 to waste. The reason I labeled it a lanrig is coz not many has done one under water besides from the fact that DD labeled it that way...

Thx, the blower will be on but I need a shroud for it to be effective. I really find this a cool idea:
Copper Plating and Etching Altoids Tins | The Steampunk Workshop

and might incorporate it into my build...

Build Progress Update #1

Created some copper bricks. (Guess what they are for..)

Started work on the GPU shroud.

PSU sleeving is a PITA. I need to shorten them, recrimp and sleeve since this case has no place to hide long cables.

Painted my GTs in copper and white

Painted my aftermarket ultra ram heatsinks.

Did all these in the past few weeks..Just dint have time to take pictures..
