@ Pine; I'm sorry but i can't discuss business arrangements on a public forum.

@ headshot; because there are multiple parts to this project an its easier to organise with multiple posts vs an edited single post.

@ zzlee; That was one of the 6 things i needed to solve for a successfull project. This project is complete, so it stands to reason that i've solved the problem ;)

Business arrangements on a public forum.. lol.. good one. (no one cares)

Anyways, i've done a few full builds in cafes I used to own / run / be an investor in (there were like, 4) Full gaming rig setups with steering wheels, pedals and manual 5 speed shifters, etc.. One of my setups in Dartmouth NS had a unique custom made 5 foot 'computer enclosure' made of 1/4" plate steel. It held 4 computers, and was about 250lb and bolted to the floor. No one messed with that puppy (had a huge f-u pad lock on it)
KVM was supplied by 25' coax shielded cable that went from the desks to the computer enclosure.
It didn't have the "bar factor" for liquid spillage tho.. i'd probably do something with molded plexi glass inside your casing for that.

Here's a picture of it before the cafe opened:

I used to use the program Netstop to control the kiosk systems : netstop-kiosk.com. owners of the program were helpful with setup and any issues I had, and has auditing setup so the bar can't rip you off on sales. It's used in a lot of hotels and airports.. it's a very secure and reliable program.

uhm. from a business perspective going 3D makes no logical sense. The cost associated vs the ROI just isn't there. Not to mention you're going to have drunk people breaking the glasses. I had perfectly sober (well, most of the time) people in my cafes - and things you would consider sturdy would get broken all the time.
Anywho, it's a good read none-the less.. keep it comin! :)

Aye, if you're worried about performance bite the bullet and get an EVGA Classified 4X SLI and another couple of 480's. Or, an SR2 + new CPU's + 2 480's. If you're doing this for somebody I hope your business arrangements aren't so that they'll be pissed over the cost of this whole thing. If I had the cash I'd shell out for this 3D surround stuff in a pinch. But then again, who has the cash? Regardless, I'd be like Ho-ly-cow...

As for the cooling, add more fans to the cabinet; the bigger the better. An array of 120mm's might not do the trick unless they're high-end 38mm's, and even then those have to be pretty badass. Don't hook them up to the machine inside, just grab a cheaper PSU like OCZ or something to power them, then jump it.

You may also want to consider W/Cing, but then again if this is to be used in a lounge it might be risky if something either goes wrong or the maintenance happens to be a bitch. Some self-contained, CoolIT-type solution may be what your after. I'm pretty sure you can hook them to GPU's if you get proper blocks for them.
