Thank you for great feedback! :)

I'm not sure about tha noise. I've only tested the case at The Gathering (World's second largest computer party) and as you might understand, the music and shouting totally drowned the noise from the computer...

That's a nice bit of work.

From my experience with speakers, the sound should be dampened quite a bit. And I would tend to feel that MDF will paint a bit more easily and evenly than real wood.

Will you be painting it with with an airbrush, spay can or other? I'd also be curious to know, once the body of the case is built, how much it weighs since MDF is quite heavy.

Cheers!

Again, thanks for great feedback from you guys!

I've never used an airbrush before, and I don't have any compressor, so I'm planning to paint it using a spray can. I would really liked to paint with an airbrush, it looks like a lot of fun!

I really dig the "embedded" switch below the mobo, that's quite a brilliant idea! No one's about to steal the router from a LAN party, not to mention one that weighs more than a hundred pounds

Cool idea, lookin' good so far

I just cut out the upper MDF parts for the feet, but since I don't have any hole saw, I had to use a multipurpose cutting kit (656) for my Dremel...

As you see there are a lot left to sand/polish, but I'll fix that soon ;)

New sponsor: Lamptron

Lamptron have agreed to sponsor the project with power and reset switches, and a few other useful things for the project.

Thank you very much for your contribution! :D
