Default Garbage case and left over paint.

Just little history on this case it's 7 plus years old and had be used/abused by me for 5 of them then given to

a friend and his kids and there kids to kill which they did, So here we are it took me a whole 3 hours to do all

of this ( i had to take brakes to let the paint but i didn't count that time cause i went back to work )

well as you can see this is a crap case i would normally throw in the garbage but i thought what the hell i miss painting cases and remember i had no primer at all and only left over paint but i think it turned out pretty good

Well here is the case half done. outside pop can for scale

The big hole in the top was for a fan years ago for those who want to know.

And here the case back at my sh1tty apt.

all back together

and know here some little mess ups nothing bad.

couple of smudges but not bad at all

pics of the rad and gear to come

Nice paint job, how'd you get the red to go on like that?
No chance you can get a new piece of plexi for that window? Personally not a fan of that fan grille there in the middle.

yes it's being water cooled if i can find a pump hope are high. i hate the little plastic center i was try to find a crap piece of plastic just not one big enough to fit there and the paint was a base of red then layer the black on top pretty easy to do with some practice on card board if you never painted before. like i said it's been awhile since i painted a case and i miss it.
gonna have to find time for this soon if i can running outta free time. thanks for all the comments

Ok well here is pics of the rad and a question about placement, rads an old oil cooler ( it's been cleaned out right )

not a big fan of top placement at all what do you all think?

side placement is what i am pretty sure i am going with.

As you can see side placement is way better looking and will work better. Opinions ???

Gingerbee I have one word to say.. Mastermind..

Nice work to restore an old case and using cheap stuff like garbage cans and old radiators.. I like the pain effect too :)
