I've got my 5870 and 2x22" 1080p's right now, I'm keeping an eye out for one more really cheap 22" 1080p. I was talking with a friend of mine at school last week and we were talking about his 5770 and my 5870.. then he brought up eyefinity (neither of us really have the money for 3 monitors and a $100 dongle lol), and he said he's heard of people "hacking drivers so the third display can run off the hdmi". I said it's not physically possible with 5k series, but he just told me to google it. Haven't found anything. Is it possible at all?

No, it is not possible. 5xxx series have enough circuitry to create two outputs via VGA/DVI. You can connect a 3rd (or more on the eyefinity 6 cards) but only if its native DisplayPort.

After many hours of hassle getting my 5970 and eyefinity properly functioning, it is now working perfectly in bad company 2, smooth as silk with details on high and 4x AF and 4x AA, hbao off. Sorry about the picture quality, it was just a quick shot.

What HP Monitors did you get?

I have the l2445m, they are 24", 16:10 monitors. I must say that after getting used to eyefinity its very cool, and I barely see the bezels anymore. Are you going eyefinity with the p2350?

Yep. They are discontinued but I found them at a site that has refurbs.

I also requested that NCIX carry them.

Futureshop still carries them, and they are still listed on the samsung site, are you sure they are discontinued?

huh....guess not. Was just going by what my jobs listing said....I will look into that with the head honcho.
