Default Props to my bro Martin

I got ahold of a good friend and family member of mine to make me some new cables. I think he does the best sleeving bar-none. This is, without a doubt, the perfect sleeve: (these are my cable btw)

24pin (20white, 4grey)

6pins and 8pin

These are rock solid, and are not coming loose. They are 100% hand made. He cuts his own wire (used white wire for white sleeve, grey wire for grey sleeve [he does this for all colors), crimps the connectors, and sleeves everything super tight and perfect - doesnt get better then this. MDPC-X Sleeve, and ATX pins. THANKS MARTIN!

Yea, an update. I wont go in to detail about how many times I took this TJ07 apart and redid it, ill just let some pictures do the talk - more like a hint.

- Cables from gray and white extensions to full length Black/ White/ Color-X. No compromise!

Ill start with the 24pin:

And the reason behind the name "Total Eclipse"

... More to come

Hi AmuseMe, nice to see you back at this build, I know how life gets in the way you are a very busy young man.

The splash of color-X is perfect accent. Looking forward to see you complete this build.

Thanks _dangtx_ and Toyoracer

My girlfriend had to move home due to some family medical issues (nothing too severe), so I have a lot more free time, though, I would trade this entire computer to have her move back here again.

Anyways. I made more progress today - clean 5870 caps, and clean motherboard caps No one likes that gross blue paint anyways. Pictures to follow tonight.

What do you clean the caps with? An abrasive sponge or steel wool or something?

Some people use pure acetone, but I wanted to make mine look dull/ matte in color. I used acetone + 1500 gritt sand paper and lightly rubbed them.

Put some electrical tape over my Corsair logos (tape will come off easy without removing the stock sticker :D)

Cables going down under the midplate:

HeatKiller!:

Two random shots:

Those PCI-E cables might need some work
