Wish I had picked up several of these cases when I bought this one.... it was old stock and I got it for $80!!!!

Even with the cutting I've done, it's still rock solid. (Took the time to use my new hole cutting kit to make a backdoor for my PSU cables.... :) ).

Those brackets will be more than enough to withstand the weight of the filled rad, for sure. Are they 2 or 4 brackets?
Two per side, but they're secured at the 2 screw points (where the fans would meet).

The ones there are only temporary. Once I get everything else done I've got a friend with access to proper bending & cutting rigs to do a proper job at it. (Jigsaws and dremmels only go so far.... :) ).

Spent the day carving out a few cable placement holes in the motherboard tray. Also took the time to remove all of the case fans and give them a good going over.

Only forward motion today was the external power connection for the fans....

Took one of the E Sata PCI blanking slot doodads from the giga board and cut down the plate to make an external plate for the top of the case. (Top original.... and since this picture was taken I cut away most of the e-sata molding on either side, as well as the sata cables).

I still haven't found a useable POT for controlling the fans (the one from the stereo amp is no good as it's not a straight pot), but once I do it'll be easy to put it in series with the 12V line under this power plug and mount it to the case.

Just waiting on the "fancy" top mount brackets to finish. I need them to get the exact placement of the tube holes in the top window.

Initial loop....... took quite some time to muscle the hose into exactly the right position, but I'm pretty pleased with the outcome, and they aren't touching anywhere.

All of the motherboard power connectors are in place as well. I'm glad I finally took the time to do some proper cable management.

View from the front shows the apogee block, and the PSU cables running to the side out of view.

Heh.....

That's pretty well everything that's been in that case since I bought it......

It started out as a S754 Sempron 3000 on a MSI 7030 Neo Plat, with 512 Apacer DDR, and a Sapphire 9600 XT.

First major upgrade was a second stick of 512 (with two sets of thermaltake heat sinks to go with the pair.... :) ), and a Cooler Master Hyper-6+. (It had Maximum PC's kickass award at the time..... :) ).

Unfortunately this project is being put on hold until close to the Christmas season. I'm leaving for a course wednesday morning and won't be back at home until then.

Finally got a chance to do some more work on this beast.......

I don't have the final brackets, but I decided to go with what I've got and add the fancy brackets once I get them made up.

Mounted the "temp" brackets from the last picture using sticky velcro onto the top of the case and I'm leak testing the WC loop as we speak.

I can't believe how quiet the pump and fans are!!!!

The pump is a bit noisy until you get the air out of the system, but once all of the air is out it's whisper quiet even on the highest setting.

The Yate Loons I picked up are also amazingly quiet. They're so quiet that I'm not going to worry about setting up a rheostat for fan speed.

I'll post some pics later.
