I believe it's supplementary power for the PCI-E slots.

Uhh so do I need it in there or what? I guess the cards are getting enough power? Maybe it will reduce the coil whine (Doubt it)? Also what's that other 2 pin connector on the 260, is that for fan control or voltage reading?

You don't need it, it probably won't reduce coil whine, and the other 2-pin connector is for SPDIF audio passthrough over HDMI (ATI cards handle this natively over the PCI-E bus, nVidia cards require the audio output to be connected directly to the card).

Ya I actually just set up my VMs yesterday and strangely I get like the exact same PPD as I did with my q9550 @ 3.2GHz. 2500PPD on each VM, 5000 total. Although that was only after like 10% completion so maybe it's changed in FAHmon. It also drops the PPD on my 260 way down though which I hope has also changed. Used to be getting 8000PPD on the 260 and when I added VMs it dropped to like 2000 lol. Not even worth to run the VMs. I changed priority on VMs to low and set the GPU client to High priority. I'm curious to see what FAHmon shows for PPD now that it's been running all night and all day. I still need to get the 8800gt folding though. I had some trouble trying to set them both up before but I didnt try to hard. I'll see what I can do though.

Well 9550 and I5 750 are really like each other. This is really possible that in FAH they have the same result.

Yes, the 750 performs about the same in F@H as a C2Q.
