Looking Good. Have you used that cooler before? It look's like the ticket. I took a look at a review of the cooler on PC Perspective, a video really and I'm pretty impressed with the capabilities of it. www.pcper.com |
Ouch, that case doesn't look very cable managment friendly... Not gunna go with an nvidia card for the sli mobo? Should be a nice set up either way |

the H50 blows in? wouldn't it be better if it blew out? |
The NZXT Lexa S would've cheaper, nicer, and easier on the cable management (: . And yeah put that Corsair H50 on the out . ( i sorta want one one) |
I have experimented with the H50 on my rig during my initial build and I can attest that... - pulling fresh air into the case across the rad cools the CPU more effectively (by about 3 degrees for me) - pulling air into the case only raises my case temp by 1 C - pushing air out of the case does not really lower case temps by much, about 1 C as I said - pushing warmer air across the rad DOES reduce the result in higher CPU temps The complaints about pulling air into the case are grossly overstated. Yes, I admit that at first I thought it would be better to blow out of the case, but after testing it in my CM 690 case, I have concluded that Corsair's standard install is perferable. However, it doesn't hurt that I have 2 120mm fans at the top of my case and another side panel 120mm pulling fresh air in as well. Cheers! H50_Canuck :) |

oh wow. I also thought it was better to suck the warm air out, but I guess when you dont use air cooling, it doesnt really matter. Switching my fans around to blow air in lowered my prime 95 temps like 4-5 degrees. Crazy! thanks for clearing that up! |
Updated the thread with some more pictures :thumb: Asso i brought a Corsair 800D case i cant stand this one aRR :angry2: Ill post pics once i move it all into this oh yeah this is the 800D :punk: http://www.dvhardware.net/news/corsair_800d_2.jpg |
