Kenster's Rig.

I am new here, and am glad to have joined this forum, I am going to wait until Core i5 and GT300 comes out before I do any serious upgrades. I know my cable management could be better, but I am not going to mess with it right now, but suggestions are always welcomed. So what you think?

Welcome to the forum.

You didn't have to create your own thread. You could have posted your pics in "Case Pics" and "Post your desk" threads.

Cleaning up that cabling is a great "free upgrade"...make it look a whole lot better and improve air flow in the Case, not to mention an excuse to get in thier n rip her apart....(seems like I'm in both of my Cases at least once a month)....

Welcome to HWC.......If you decide to take on some Cable Management post "before n after" pics! Cheers ;) :punk:

With that CPU n PSU a great n cheap upgrade would be to toss another 9800 GTX + in thier for SLI.....very similar to my 2nd Rig!.....oh..a Aftermarket CPU Cooler and OC that E8400 too.
So:
1. Tidy up the cabling free
2. Add 2nd 9800 GTX+ SC Card approx $140
3. Aftermarket CPU Cooler approx $50
4. OC that E8400 to 3.6 - 4 Ghz free

boom....new Rig! :thumb:

A Asus P5N-D is nForce 750i, but the spacing is a bit tight.

Awesome then....SLI that sucker and enjoy a huge performance boost!! If the Mobo has (I know 750i does) 2 PCI-E slots, dual 9800 GTX+ SC will be fine for space, they are quite a bit smaller that the GTX 2xx Series Cards.....my SLI 9800 GTX+ Sc's fit fine in my "tight" Raidmax Smilidon Case....simply moved one Hard Drive up one position.
