Project: Cam finally ordered all his parts!

Well as a lot of you regulars know;

I had an i7 965 sitting here since the day they were released, literally. I also had a set of Mushkin 998691, the FIRST set in Canada to be exact; also sitting here since the day they were released (minus shipping time:P ).


Due to circumstances beyond my control I was not able to even get into this build until now! (thanks work, for making me a slave).

Whaaat? Didn't I meet you downtown this winter and you had some of these parts? I remember thinking 'this guy will have three i7 builds' before i get my first on the go. Looks like I got a system together before you did ;p

I bought a mobo and memory, and sold them ahahaha, Yeah I totally had this chip sitting around since then, oi!

Edit: Actually when you met me downtown it was the same day I picked up the case I'm using in this build! haha it's been in a box since then too!

Wow, I think I'd forgotten you had that processor! I'm sure that processor's been crying in its lonely box all this time.

It'll be interesting to see your impressions of the board. Haven't seen many builds with this board yet.

I was working every single day for the past few months, literally, no days off...I almost lost my mind from too much work... i'm realllllllly happy yo have time off now to work on this ebhehehe

Arg, when did you order that case? Did you order from NCIX? I ordered one last night and they said that it might take even 2 weeks cuz its on backorder:P

I bought the case off Lemonlime, it was the review unit from HWC. Geez, it musta been six months ago now lol


Great case though! I only wish it came in a full tower size too.
