My System Specs

Default Built! Pictures!

"Hellish" doesn't begin to describe it. I put my GTX295 in there... and, well.... you'll see.

PICTURES:
Outside (with the obligatory Beer bottle for size comparison):

Interior with no PSU:

Looks a little cramped doesn't it? You have no idea... Behold!

Corsair H50 Clearance underneath the optical drive - Milimeters to spare:

GTX295 blocks half the sata ports, so I got creative with some 90 degree connector cables:

GTX295.... a 10.5 inch long card. A card thats 10.6 inches would not fit. the end of the card is almost touching the fan hub! the gap is so small i couldnt even take a picture of it:

And last, but not least:

... I don't even have an explanation. Too much going on in too small of a case. Remind me not to build one like this again.

Your thoughts executor?

You need a bigger case now Meta.. you can't do this to yourself lol..
Have mercy on those parts, they deserve better, and so do you :p

When I first saw that video card, I thought you just enlarged it in paint, when I read your comments, I was like oh .... lol

On a serious note, interestingly these pre-filled cooling units are just becoming famous, I remember using them when I worked for HP last year, using them in the Blackbirds..

It's actually meant to be a portable powerhouse . Although it's surprisingly heavy for it's size. The only build I've ever done that was more difficult was... Behemoth. lol.

PS: All temps looking good so far! 38c Idle/ 48-50 under full load @ 3.2Ghz. Not bad for the little H50 and a Scythe fan.

So get a big heavy case and put some casters on the bottom!

However, it is VERY cramped in there, even if you're looking for more portability I'd personally like to have some more room for proper airflow... but that's JMO

Airflow isnt Awful in the case actually. 2x 120mm Scythe s-flex fans on intake give plenty of airflow. The lower one is Literally giving fresh air directly to the GTX295, which exhausts directly out the case and partially out the side, where theres an Antec spotcool pushing the remaining heat out the grilled side panel. For the CPU it's a little more restricted, but still decent, The spotcool that faces the northbridge also serves to help airflow under the edge of the PSU, before its pulled back up into the PSU through its 120mm fan and the out the back of the case. I'll be the first to admit that it's not the ideal setup for airflow, but for a tiny tiny system, its pretty good.
