Tought I would let you see my latest work. it managed to cut 'bout 5 degrees off my load temps...pretty nice I think...

So here we go:

So what did you DO exactly? It looks like you just added a 120.2 rad to me...

Maybe a description of what you did to complement the pictures would help me out tremendously.

Also, congrats on the 5C improvement, I know it isn't easy to lower temps by that much.

Well, that's pretty much what I did...I've added a res and rad to the loop in order to get the coolant pre-chilled before it hits the TECS again...goes FZE>block>rad>res>pump>FZE...

I had to cut the chassis to be able to fit the res with mounted fans under the top of my staker 830.

I'd be interested in doing this, if I had a freezone elite.

so how hard was it to re-plumb all of it? did you have to use your own tubing or was there enough of the stock tubing left over?

Does the Freezone run more silently now? Since the detected water temp should be lower, the TECs and Fan don't have to work as hard.

I'm just worried about condensation, if this mod allows the TEC's to run below full capacity and reduce the need for condensation prevention.

The TEC's are controlled via the control unit. As long as the target fluid temp is higher then Ambient, no condensation should form in theory.

The Radiator adds a bit of extra protection against condensation as it will cool/heat the fluid to Ambient.
