Yup. Felt good building a computer where I didn't spend a month making it look good.

3570k, Z77A-G45, 16GB G.Skill 1600MHz, GTX680 SLI, 240GB Revo drive, 2TB Seagate cached by 30GB X25-E, 750W ST75F-G. Cooling is Magicool 2x140, Swiftech MCR320, MCP35x, EK blocks (w/o crop circles). All the GT AP-15s are running @ 5V. The coil whine on one of the GTX680s is defintely the loudest part of the rig.

My first custom loop. Nothing out of the ordinary here, I'm new to custom water cooling so I didn't want to do anything too radical.
  • HAF 932 + Corsair HX 850
  • i7 920 cooled by Swiftech Apogee HD
  • 2x EVGA GTX 680 SC's with XSPC Razor Blocks
  • Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper Triple 120mm Radiator & Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper Single 120mm Radiator
  • 4x Gentle Typhoon 1150 (AP-13)
  • Swiftech MP655-SE Pump
  • Switech Maelstrom Res
  • Tygon R3603 5/8 OD 3/8 ID tubing, (yes I know of its leeching problem. I will be watching it very closely and will replace it when I flush my system in 6 months or earlier if needed)
  • Swiftech Lok Seal Compression Fittings
  • Primochill PC Pure Clear Fluid

If your wondering why I have 2 floppy SLI connectors when only running 2 way SLI, my 2 680's act like spoiled brats and demand both SLI fingers be used to enable SLI when in those PCIe Slots.

Clear Tubing and fluid, who needs colored tubing or fluid when you have LED light strips

Also is it just me or was anyone else just a slight bit nervous when they switched on their first custom loop for the first time? I spent over 8 months researching and planing, the system passed its 24+ hour leak test with ZERO leaks but even then I just a little nervous when I pushed the power button for the first time.

Cool, that bitch should rip anything thrown at it. I love the HAF932. That case is so massive and easy to work with. A Thermochill 140.3 will fit up top with very little modding. I have used it for two different water builds. My present rig, as well as my son's rig are housed in one. Mine being 'The Torture Chamber'. I have had a few different systems in it since it's inception. Trying to justify a new build for it, but the config works great. Other than different water blocks and a couple tubing runs, the cooling system is unchanged since 2010. Hell, the 650-B pump is still going strong. That is with it running mostly 24/7, and running glycol thru it a few times. Other than that, no snake oil for me. Just distilled water with a silver coil.

Ya, I have to say I was a little nervous when I first powered up the pump on my first water build. It was an i7-930 and two GTX480s under water with it. My last couple of water builds, by time I am done bleeding air, that is my leak test. Sounds sketchy, but havent had a leak yet. Just use quality fittings and components. Anything less and you are looking for a disaster.

Havent had issues with Tygon R-3400 1/2 X 3/4 leaching. My rez has never been cloudy. Now, with the PrimoFlex Pro LRT UV Red Tubing shit I bought, that is another story. Used it for a Rampage IV Extreme build. Looked horrible after 1 day.

Its Tygron 3603 and I heard it has an issue with plasticizer leaching faster then one expected (along with some of the PRO LRT tubing). Most of those leaching problems happened in a loop with DI + Kill Coil or PT Nuke. I'm running Primochill's PC Pure clear fluid, but I will be keeping a close eye on it regardless.

Arrow 1 st try on H2O cooling loop and building a alu-rig.

First attempt to design a H2O cooling loop and custom built rig started out with 1m2 3mm Alu-sheet. Runs good and keeps all equipment cool. Max on the 4,6G CPU 52 C, GPU 32-34 C overklocked slightly approx 15%. Room temp 21-22C

2 SSD Corsair Force GT 120GB in Raid0 for Booting Win7 64.
OZC Revo 3 120GB.
1 SSD SanDisk Extrem 245 GB.
1 USB 3.0 Brinell Carbon 1 TB.
GTX 690 15% over standard.
