My System Specs

Default Dual Quad Upgrade

Figured I'd share this with the community, so here's my new upgrade:

That's a pair of Xeon E5520s, 12GB of DDR3-1333 ECC memory, an Asus Z8NA-D6C motherboard and two s1366 Xeon coolers.

The board with CPUs installed. I used the same video card as before (7900GTO, upgrading it wasn't in my budget).

Board with coolers and RAM installed.

A different shot of the board, coolers and RAM.

The board installed in my P180 case.

That's a lot of threads.

EDIT: Forgot to add, thanks Vortex for the help and cable-fu.

So, what do you all think?

The coolers are actually quite silent. Mind you I didnt hear them on full load. What rpm's do they ramp up to load in your baking hot room Dale?

Awsome, I really like that setup.

I keep having the ITCh to do an Opteron Build when Istanbul goes live.

This is making it harder and harder to ignore that lol.
