So the construction part of the desk is done. Tomorrow I'm taking it all down and priming it. Then saturday I paint it and it's 2 weeks of waiting for the paint to cure...!

The stand for my case. It's made so I can later on install a triple rad under the case! I'll be carving something on the front.

Spot for video games, xbox360 and PS2 on the smaller shelves and the opening for the fan controller

The not as fun part. The non-computer desk part for homework ...

Half of all the saw dust Everytime I sneeze a little saw dust comes out.....

Update :

Alright, so I'm done painting my case.

I'm on the second coat for the paint on the desk, should be done tomorrow, then it's 2 weeks of waiting for the paint to cure.

I blew my paycheck in 5 mins, ordered the last of the parts for the system. It's gonna be ...

P2 X4 955
MSI 790FX-GD70
Mushkin DDR3 ram
XFX 4870
Seasonic Modular 750W PSU

Also my sleeving kit arrived today so I can finally work on that.

Pics to come soon.

So after all my dragon case did get an AMD Dragon Platform

It's almost done. I finished the sleeving and putting everything together, now I only have to make small adjustments so the side panel sits better, but otherwise, I'm very pleased!

And these guys are gonna go at the bottom.

And a week and a half of waiting for the paint to cure.

The rest of the parts should arrive around Wednesday or Thursday!

Seems after all this will become a nice little server case. There is no way I can close the side panel with the cables behind, it's an older case and seems it was never meant to have cables running behind it ... soo frustrated ... so the hunting for a new case begins.

At least I still had fun building it

I'll upload some pics soon.

Have you tried organizing the mess of wires with zip ties and tie holds?
