Fun with a Dremel!

2 hours, 4 cutting disks, a dremel and lots and lots of cursing!

New design to make it easier to cut (at least I thought...)

All cleaned up and ready to check how it looks with my red LED fan.
It looks superb!

I'll take a pic of it tonight to see how it looks in the dark!!!

Oh man, that looks so epic! I wouldn't even paint that! I would just brush it with a zippy disc a few times and leave it the way it is. It would look...Tuff. XD

Thx man!

It will be painted all black since the metal colour won't match that lovely beige.

So had a crazy time at work, it was the grand opening of our store so I've been running around all of last week, finally got some time off this week to work on it, probably Wednesday.

In the mean time my intake fan at the bottom died on me ... and I stepped on one of my cold cathodes by accident ... so ya ...

Front panel should be done Wednesday, at least that's the plan, and painting should follow soon, still waiting on the paycheck!!!!

Well after a lot of searching and thanks to enaberif!!! I've finally managed to get some very fine grit sandpaper (800, 1000 and 1500). So I can now finish my black paint tests!

Lol did you dremel those? I'm guessing you're going to cut around the edges of those holes now. Why not do that in the first place? Looks epic nonetheless!

Naw I drilled holes, I'll clean it up with the dremel though. I have patience with a dremel but I'd never dare try something like that!!!

Drill was happy after I was done, it suffered ... bit would heat up so much I had to plunge it in cold water every 3 holes and you could hear the little "psssh" sound...
