Hey Kruzn; I have an IDE and SATA to usb cable that you can use to try all the drives. Its one of these guys:
Canada Computers - Cables and Adapters > Hard Drive/ROM Drive > Drive Adapters : Bytecc BT-300 USB 2.0 to IDE/SATA Adapter, Works with 2.5", 3.5" HDD, 5.25" CD/DVD Drive and SATA Drives .

That might be worth a try, I tried all of them on my other rig and they still weren't being detected in the bios so I'm thinking the drives are all toast

Woah-wa-yay-oh! This is running on the drive you managed to get working?

I'm pleasantly surprised that you have managed to OC your i7 965 to ~4ghz and get 38C max, (although it is idle) with a triple rad. I might be talking out my arse, and I'm definitely no WCing expert, but you have an i7 965 and 3x GTX 280's hooked up to a single triple rad and get good, pretty low temps like that.

Wait, those are idle (or close to idle), can we get some benchmarks? How does it game? FPS? Temps?

Here's an updated screen using everest to stress, even using prime95 it doesn't get over 63c. Running vantage the gpu's stay around 50-52c. I haven't loaded any games yet, I'm still tinkering and tweaking. I had to rma the 2 vertex ssd's today so it'll be a couple of weeks before they get back, haven't decided if I'll just pick up another one or wait, once I decide that then I'll probably load up a couple of games and see how that goes.

Looking at that and the max is 63C under Prime95 @ 4.0GHZ...GPU's at 52...damn, I better save my cash for a W/C setup because damn that's wicked!
