My System Specs

Thumbs up Summer '09 build!

Well this is my first worklog ever so bear with me! This will be a decent i7 build and a nice simple worklog. Classified non-NF200 board on the way, 2 Evga GTX 275's and Corsair Dominator GT PC3-1600 cas8 the cas7 was just way too much of a difference. Waiting until I can get a definite D0 stepping on my 920 so I have to raid my local shops for now!

This will be air-cooled with a TRUE in a push-pull with a couple of sflex SFF21F's that I have lying around. Won't be able to get the WC setup until my summer job picks up.

Sorry about the bad pics new camera on the way and I'm moving back home from my student house so things are a bit hectic!

Just got my Lian Li PC-A70 back from powder coating so check it out! Hope you enjoy it as it develops.

Thanks netforce. The powder coating set me back $80 and I'm really happy with it. For a simpler case like an Antec 900 or a Haf it would have been around $40-50. The Lian Li cost more because it has quite a few threaded holes that needed to be plugged. I'll be putting up more pics when I get my new camera (hopefully this weekend).

I will rephrase my question... on the 2 last pics ( the one after ) we can see 2 differents tone of black, witch pic is more close to the color of the case.

Ya my bad photography skills and using different cameras temporarily stolen from my roommates don't make for accurate colours. The second pic is more representative of the real colour. It's a nice flat black that looks really good with the brushed aluminum of the exterior. Once I get my new camera I'll take some better pics under the same lighting. Cheers

So it's graphite. I want to say the one at the bottom look better, but I wait you confirm it....

So when you will start to weatherize it , add some rust…. ( oups it’s not my model railroad weathering forum ) very nice start.

I really like the look of that black powdercoating =D looks like its going to be a kick A$$ build man, Wish I had a pile of parts like that sitting in my room right now =P

EDIT: whats a rough estimate for powder coating a case? Im thinking about doing mine, as the black paint I wasted on it is scratching off.

The case he had cost him $80, and for something like a HAF or Antec 900 it would've been $40-50.
