home theatre pc 1 Attachment(s) Hey guys ! It's been a while since the last time I've been here. I hope all of ya are doing well !!! Here's my last buid... my home theatre/media sharing pc made of "old" hardware I had from previous builds. May be a little overkill for these tasks, but I managed to get my hands on a very cheap E8400 on Ebay ( read 100$ ). So here it is:

Nice Build =) |
ya very obsolite those Bluray .........:haha:, seriously, with a new Hd , you are in business . if I'm not wrong this board can do Raid 1, why not put 2 drives and have an extra safety for few $$$ Quote:

but still your PC can be stolen or your place pass on fire..... Catch something nasty so it's not fail proof .. Backup back up Backup |
Lol, $100 for an e8400! eBay = win (sometimes) |
Nice work man ! Recycling the old gear into cool stuff is something I love. Good wire management....but reverse your HDD , It'll look better . --- :thumb: |
I don't know why it bothers me so much, but I just can't come to call something that's in a regular tower case an 'HTPC.' To me, for me to allow myself to call them such, they need to be in a low-profile desktop case. It's like OCD or something. >_<; |
That not bothers me at all it's a nice HTPC . I'm thinking to make one with my Mozart TX case, will be very nice standing at the side of my TV Quote:

What I think would be a great idea is mounting an HTPC To the Vesa mount on the back of most HD TV's these days. I shouldn't be the one to talk though, I have a WHS Stuffed into a P182 sitting in the corner of my living room with its guts exposed to the world >_< darn CoolIT [PURE]'s and their wide radiators |
