haha, green is my favorite color though. I am a big fan of nVidia as well
Its something I will never admit to it in person I've always had a thing for nVidia edition cases.

CM Stacker 830 CM 690 and probably my all time favourite SilverStone TJ10 nV Edition

I don't know, while I don't personally like green, I think that when done as a theme as he is, it ends up looking great. Its much better than the horrid "black and blue" full of cheap blue led's theme that most people have, and I like blue!

That is why I have steered away from blue Chilly. Way too many cases I see on hardware sights are blue effects. I think though in the distant future I will try to make my next build with purple effects. haven't really seen that before! I think I could make it look pretty sweet. My parts should be here around Thursday or Friday and I will post updated pictures and a little more detailed build log!! I'm really excited to fire it up for the first time and get into the BIOS!! As for the cpu cooler I read decent reviews of it and I also like the way it looks. As for mounting the 2 Scythe case fans on the top.... any forseen issues with 2 fans that powerful in the top? I think they will be sucking a lot of heat off the CPU and RAM but then again this is only my 2nd build. Opinions are most welcome!!

Heh... I hope you didn't think I was really dissin' your choice of case. I actually like the look of the case compared to the stock one.

I didn't think you were sswilson. It's nice to have differing opinions and I am not someone that gets offended by people voicing theirs. I am happy with the case so that's what matters right? My only negative on the whole case is the 80mm fan thing because a 15mm wide fan with open corners is very hard to track down. Hoping my video card gets here today. Still be a couple days for the PSU and CPU though.

Maybe because it's nearly impossible to find actual purple LEDs or CCFLs? Everything is just UV.

Trust me, I've looked high and low for my mom's PC since she likes purple.

FrozenCPU is the only store i've seen that has a purple LED fan, and it's a big-ass 250x30 beast. I love the idea of purple... would look amazing.

Got my video card today! Good news! Bad news is that UPS delivered it by just leaving it on my front step, in the rain, where anyone could see it and grab it if they realized what it was. The card seems fine though as you will see from the following pictures!

That make me Call and file a complaint, we don't complain they'll keep doing it.

Nice choice definitely keeps within the green theme.

Is that a vanilla XFX GTX285?

I see a TT TR2 there in the background that wouldn't the cpu cooler you're going to use?

Haha, no I won't be using that cooler. That is on my Q6600 in my older system. It's not the greatest but it keeps my CPU cool enough with the minimal overclock I have on it. System info is in my signature. I am using a Scythe Katana 2 for this beast. NCIX is taking their sweet time getting me my parts though. My order with them was scanned in BC for shipping out by UPS 5 days ago and it has not updated at all. I despise UPS but they are cheap and I used my NCIX points for free shipping!

EDIT: Yah its a vanilla GTX 285. It will more than do the trick for my needs and I really wanted to go with the sinle processor as I get SLI glitches in some of the games I play.
