It is a Galaxy 2 piece that I got from Costco.ca. It is pretty awesome, only thing was with my 58" TV the shelf above the TV wouldn't fit right and it was only 7" deep do my 10.5" center channel wouldn't fit. I bought two shelf brackets from home depot for like $3 and drilled a hole and bolted them to the back of the stand and screwed them to the bottom of the shelf, making it flush with the top of the wall. This gave me a 12" deep ledge on top, perfect for my center and my wii sensor bar.

Here is a link: http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=10309378&whse=BCCA&Ne=4000000& eCat=BCCA|93|22388|22390&N=4009912&Mo=52&pos=1&No= 5&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=22390&Ns=P_Price|1||P_ SignDesc1〈=en-CA&Sp=C&ec=BCCA-EC8135-Cat22388&topnav=

You can also get additional piece if you want, but I didn't see the point: http://www.costco.ca/Browse/Productgroup.aspx?Prodid=10306011&whse=BCCA&Ne=400 0000&eCat=BCCA|93|22388|22389&N=4009911&Mo=6&pos=0 &No=3&Nr=P_CatalogName:BCCA&cat=22389&Ns=P_Price|1 ||P_SignDesc1〈=en-CA&Sp=C&ec=BCCA-EC8135-Cat22388&topnav=

You can also get the Astro 2 or 3 piece too, it is exactly the same but in Espresso color (dark brown).

Figure I may as well give you kind folks a tour. Nothing too fancy, just your standard Software Engineering student entertainment-centre-in-the-bedroom setup:
  • Sharp LC-46D64U 46" 1080p LCD
  • Logitech Z-5500 Digital
  • PS3 80GB w/320GB 7200rpm upgrade
  • Wii (hardly touch the damn thing any more)
  • DS Lite and PSP-3000 make an appearance

In the back end, you can see the Sumo Sultan. What an intensely comfortable "chair"!

Poor lighting + poor photography skills = crappy photos, so please excuse me

Samsung releases innovative LED LCD TV

Companies like Samsung are pushing toward breaking new ground with LCD-LED technology while others like Panasonic are working to improve exisitng plasma technology. I don't kno wmuch about it , but I suspect that the LCD-LED might become the leader in the future, but in the ordinary consumer's price range at this point, I would (and have) opt for a good plasma like Panasonic Viera- the problems that used to plague plasma are no longer an issue other than energy consumption- just a non-expert opinion though.
