@Mr. Gruntsworthy
I was amazed at the apparent friendship that you formed between 2 separate generations of competitive consoles.

I mean, really. Xbox, Xbox 360, sure. Add a PS2...hmm...PS3? o.O

And then cap it all off with a Gamecube, and then force them all to share a single TV. I am simply amazed that your house has not exploded yet. Also, you should probably heal your character in Fallout, there.

The gamecube is benine right now; somebody stole the cables a year ago (long story). My Xbox 360 is hooked up directly to my TV through Component, and my Xbox/PS2/PS3 are hooked up to a 3-switch A/V Composite switch.

i'll post pics later. I love my setup to bits. It's almost all HD (save for a few stragglers).

Display System

Epson powerlite 1080p UB
White Matte Wall (my screen isn't 16x9)

Sound System

Marantz S5003 Reciever
JBL Venue Stadium Fronts
JBL Venue Voice Center
JBL Balcony Rear Surrounds
JBL ES30 Surround Backs
Athena P4100 10" Sub

Entertainment Components

Custom HTPC
PS3
Wii (non hi def )
Popcorn Hour NMT
Apollo Tape Deck
JVC 5 Cd Disc Changer
Technics Turntable (needs repair)

Other Parts

Belkin Power Console (i love it to bits, i think someone else here has one)

Cables

All my cables are from monoprice. I saved A TON. one example would be the 40" inwall HDMI cable i got for $40

Blu-ray Movies on this look more amazing to me than going to the theater but probably not cheaper in the long run

LCDGuy, are you using a special paint for your white wall or just standard white matte?

Ideally yes. But since i currently live in an apartment i am using just a regular white paint that was already on the walls. When i buy my own place i plan on making a true home theatre. By true i mean true. I am hoping to source some theatre seats. a proper screen with curtains, etc.

Unless you have a dedicated space for the job. Just get a screen as you have to keep the pain clean or it will look like garbage not to mention good paint is kind of expesnive as it has to reflect back a certain percentage of light.

One thing i am pissed about is the new epson 1080p projectors since they have come down alot since i bought mine :(.

i want the new one that is a grand cheaper and has a dynamic CR of 75000:1 versus mine which is only 50000:1
