Well this is my humble "Entertainment Centre" after a rework of the room a couple of days ago and some cable tidying. Specs are:

Got the wires through the wall today after mounting the tv up top. Nice to have that done in the new place. The new speakers don't have the bass my big old floor standing ones did but ah have to compromise in marriage ;)

Is this why you couldn't mount it over the fireplace, where it would seem to belong? I'm generally not a fan of the over-the-fireplace mounting, but if it has to be up high like that anyway...

Yep that was her call. Alough I'm pretty happy with how it is now for watching movies etc. And the pardigm speakers although small have some great clarity at least.
