I'm hopefully pickin up this audio system at the end of the month Onkyo USA Corporation HT-S5100B Onkyo HTS5100B Home Theater System should mix in well with the xbox and PVR. My buddy gets it for around 550 his price so its a good deal even if it isn't top of the line.

It an Asus M2N-hdmi, 2.5ghx amd X2, 2gb 667 ram. Built it for less than $400. Toss in a gyration universal remote and you have a winner. on-board graphics, plays 720p fine but stutters on 1080p. Plasma in only 720 though, so it's all good.

I'm using my wife's gateway laptop as an HTPC for now, still putting together parts for a real one. It works surprisingly well.

Holy Chit mang! I love the consoles, hate the wires, hate the TV, the desk, and that petite monitor! =D

Do yourself a favor, run to Ikea and buy about 3 shelf sets for $10. Lay one horizontal, the other two vertical on either end of the horizontal one. Then, run out and buy a nice big-ass TV and hook everything up to it! =D

EDIT: Sorry I was talking about Mr. Grunt's setup, but all you other guys' setups are good too!

I'm moving in two months, and I'll have to re-set up everything. Chances are, I will get myself a new TV somewhere down the line; hopefully an HDTV :)
