Default Antec 900 fail WC log (First-time WCer)

Alright. This will be my first INTEL build as well as my first WC build. I will be asking questions throughout this thread. I hope people can help me out and answer the noob questions in regards to Watercooling. This build will take some time due to the paranoia of leaks. heh. Pretty much everything is used except for a couple of WC parts.

Alright so here's what the guts:
Antec 900 (thanks RFDer lol)
Asus P5Q Pro (thanks Apollo4g)
Intel e8400 mystery stepping from newegg
2x2GB G.Skill PC-8500 DDR2 Ram
XFX 9800gtx+ (recycled from old PC)
Corsair TX650W (recycled from old PC)
LG DVD Burner (recycled from old PC)

WC parts below:

BIX 120.3 Rad (thanks bluewolf97)
CPX1 Pump (Merci bcp phil3_66666)
D-Tek Fuzion V2
Swiftech Radbox
Swiftech Micro res rev2
Anti-kink coils
Clearflex 1/2ID tubing (yeah, cheaped out and got clearflex. heh. Should still be fine!)
Bunch of reusable clamps
3 x Yate Loons (the red ones on sale) + grills
Extra DD barbs (2x2pack) (still unaccounted for, waiting for DC to ship 'em to me)
Petra Nuke (still unaccounted for, waiting for DC to ship 'em to me)

Planning on doing one loop (CPU) for now. Will eventually upgrade the pump. It should suffice for now...or at least I hope. Distilled + Petra. No UV. Just plain for now.

I can't really do much right now since parts are still accounted for.

Waiting for:
e8400 from UPS
fan grills + IO plate from Apollo4g (nyahaha )
Petra Nuke + barbs from DC

Once I get the IO plate, I plan on screwing in the plate for the CPU block, and fixing the cable management in the 900 (which I know, is a pain) before I do anything in regards to WCing. I won't touch a dremel anytime soon, so don't give me ideas!

Also, this post will be updated frequently to indicate the progression of the build, ie: which posts to check for updates.

Couple of questions:
1) I'm off to Home Depot tomorrow to pick up some longer screws for the radiator to mount the fans. Anything else I should pick up since I'll be there anyway?
2) I'm using a CPX-1 that has a 3-pin header, that will go directly onto one of the 3-pin connectors on the mobo right?
3) Do I need a fan shroud?

For now, here are some pics of the parts:

I know, boring.

PS: I will be most likely following this guide, every step of the way:
Guide To WaterCooling and Leak Testing - ALL New WaterCooler's Read Before Posting! - XtremeSystems Forums
If anyone can give me any other tips, or redirect me to another guide, feel free and do so.

Cheers,
J

Don't be surprised if the only machine screws you can find are robertson.... :) Do you have a set of wire strippers with thread cutters on them?(Dremmel will work if you have to, but the cutters are the cat's A$$)

The square ones? lol. And no I don't have wire strippers. Essential? (for what exactly?)

Wire cutters with machine screw thread cleaner/cutter. Not absolutely necessary, but one of those tools I'll never be without again. Lets you get exactly the right length of screw. :)

As far as "square" goes.... yeah if you're looking for machine screws at the hardware store chances are they're going to be robertson head so make sure you've got the right screwdriver handy. :)

Yeah, one of the scissors mechanisms broke last time I cleaned it. Don't really need the num lock key though, and the switch still works.... :)

On the subject of using robertson screws... We should all be happy to use this true Canuck invention... it truly is a superior fastener head. :)
