Alright, a couple of (pictureless) updates.

1) Due to the heat the vreg puts out, I've ordered the Bitspower waterblock set for this board, so stay tuned for an update of the loop
2) I'm dialling in my 24/7 oc somewhere around 3.9GHz with the RAM at 1628 7-8-7-20 and the bclk at 206. The 20 multi doesn't like me so far. I'm running on 1.325v in bios, which gives me up to 1.36v under load (EVGA's anti-vdroop actually gives you more juice when you need it instead of less )

My current settings pass 20 runs of LinX (Linpack testing)

I'm now testing the RAM with Memtest to see how it does.

Once that happens, I'm going to concentrate on tweaking the voltages down (CPU voltage has bottomed out at 1.325v *bios*, anything lower and it crashes around 15 passes of LinX) I'll tweak each voltage down as low as I can and hopefully that will help me with temps. I'm also going to try bumping bclk bit by bit to see if I can't squeeze things up to the magical 4GHz barrier.

Zlojack...I have to admit that is one wild setup.
Makes me wish I had the knowledge base everyone here has for OC'ing, WC custom loops (I used TT DIY Kits, bad me I know) etc etc..

Amazing setup and Numbers thus far, I really think you've done good on this one.

That's pretty much what I'd say. The intricacy of these WCing setups amaze me. Good luck with past that 4GHz barrier

I'm surprised you're having a hard time doing 4.0, and don't understand why the 20x multi is not cooperative... heck, my old Air setup did 4.1 while crunching.

I think it's the EVGA bios. They don't have it fine-tuned enough yet. The older bios versions on Gigabyte and Asus also had some issues with the 20x multi earlier, if I recall correctly.

It's a tradeoff I had to make for space in the case

What are you running at right now on yours?

I was running hit at 3.3, since I'm using the fireplace in the basement - and my rig is next to it. But that was yesterday. Today it's being water-cooled... who knows at what clocks it will run tonight.

I hear you. I was running mine at 3.36 (21x160) on the stock cooler with my Gigabyte board. It would get up over 70 C while crunching. I imagine with a TRUE you'd be getting pretty good temps.
