Oh, woops! Damn I'm sure you mentioned that somewhere but it seems so long ago...well it was along time ago!

This is GOING to turn out sweet.

Please, I will totally cry myself to sleep at night and do it with no shame if you tell the total cost of this build! Please!

I'd bet these numbers are correct, but with the decimal in the wrong spot and missing two zeros.

$12,736.00 is my guess.

My tally is ~$28KCAD - believe it or not that is a very conservative estimate.

It doesn't include the cost of the Carbon Fiber / the $561 in Copper Place / the $522 in stainless and copper nuts and bots / or the disposables like tape, blades, [dozens of] $12 carbide cutters, the tools I had to buy, etc.

Most importantly it doesn't include an estimate for my thousands of man hours of labour, research and design, (work out my usual earnings of ~$100-140/hr - this project quickly becomes "priceless").

Put into perspective the purchasing was done over the course of 18months - and there has been ~7400CAD in sponsored goods.... still doesn't make me any less nuts (but it helps).

and...

Today I added another 144 pcs to the list.

I spent the past 5-hrs using a mini 22mm pipe cutter to fabricate 144x 17mm long spacers.

My hands are now crippled and blistered.

I used some old copper pipe I had laying around - the scratches and corrosion made the job about 10x harder than it needed to be.

The spacers were cut from 10mm OD copper pipe and will be used 72per side to keep the copper fins evenly distributed.

Here are the fins in question:

Here's a really quick Teaser:

Thanks for reading - tune in soon.

Uh-oh...is that some kind of a radiator you got going there? Needs more fins if it is...

Or perhaps you're using it as a side panel? Or your're tacking it onto the outside? Or perhaps on the inside of the right panel
