...and they only made 300 of them... and this one had to die in order to be reborn.

And I can just imagine Langer saying this in his mysterious castle, rubbing his hands together ominously, followed by a loud "MUAHAHAHAHA" and thunder in the background.

This would be a perfect time to upload a movie I acted in; where I played a mad scientist who accidentally creates life... A screencap would've been most appropriate but I can't find the raw footage - its around here somewhere, when I find it I'll post it.

Ah, I thoguht there was less space than that, probably just camera angle then.

That last picture looks pretty awesome. Very clean.

yeah, half height card (well, probably closer to 3/4 with the Carbon fibre shroud) should have tons of room for clearance, but funky camera angles make for strange looking pictures sometimes (camel spiders in sandoval anyone?)

I've always enjoyed this one. Seems fitting in a situation like this

NEEDS MORE JIGGAWATTS! Langer, could we see a pic with all the components inside the case, as it is? I'm dying to see how far along this project is! It's going to be a S.O.B if you ever want to upgrade it, but that's not the point of a work of art like this! =D

Thanks folks.

ImmaPC: as already stated there will be no upgrading. This is not a computer as much as it is an experiment in design. When it's complete (which will be soon) I will start a new project (whose parts list I've included below just for you).

JUST A TEASER:

Anyone who has ever sleeved an ATX plug knows its a pain in the ass...when you have a half inch of wire to work with it becomes a painful... when you then have to cut, crimp and solder the pins onto the little stumps it elevates maddening... if not enough - getting the ATX plug onto that mess could drive a man suicidal... and don't even get me started on the soldering end.

Suffice to say - won't be doing this again with a ribbon cable!!! It made the process about a million times more difficult.

The ribbon cable will be coated in black rubber so as to keep things perdy.

More soon. I need to run the 12V power and make the ATX power black, amung other things.

Tune in tomorrow kids - same bat time; same bat channel!

A small taste of things to come:
This is the parts list for my upcoming project (starting later this year).

5 automated cooling loops
10pumps
8rads
64gb ram
16 cpu cores
4 gpu cores
*grunt grunt grunt*

Many moons away still though.
