Yea, airflow was a big priority when it came to the desk design. Even the glass is spaced off the desk. You can feel a nice breeze from it.

I did an experiment with one of those rotating table top fans. Placed it next to the CPU rad. WOW... 12 degree drop in temp. If my other cooling idea goes south on me then Fans will be installed.

Reading through this thread, I wasn't sure that the glass painted like that was a good idea, but when you put it in place... Wow! Gives off a very cool "x-ray vision" sort of effect, if you will.

The glass is a killer touch. I tell you though, cutting the glass was a whole new experience. Trim work was the easy part for me.

THIS PROJECT is still ALIVE.

I have spent the last 3 weeks modifying the desk and I am proud to say you all will be impressed. Sadly I do not have the pictures up and ready for you to look at.

Just wanted to let you all know that my winter cooling mod to the system is currently giving me an idle temp from 25C - 32C (3.315GHZ @ 1.472V). And that's at the current forecast of 5C outside.
I've tossed in some ICE into my loop and I can hold 20C - 23C for almost an hour. Can't wait for freezing outside temperatures.

I'll get those pics up ASAP.
