Great news everybody! Time to UPGRADE ALREADY!!! That's right, I'm jumping into it so soon. Rest assure the desk is not getting any real modification. The cooling is though.

I promise I'll keep the pics coming steady this time.

This is going to be operation "Nature my best friend".

My system has been running better then ever. Sadly with all this watercooling I have done, my temperatures still climb rather high due to the lack of fans on the radiators. I'm averaging 40C on my processor. I may as well switch back to air cooling at that temp. However I can not side with that knowing efficiency is what counts here.

I am not happy with the idea of placing 3 big fans on my rads. That's just more noise and more wiring. On the other hand my new idea could be just as bad. Oh well I like my new idea better.

The plan is to simple use our favorite free source of cold air. WINTER BABY!!!! and during the summer it's bloody freezing in the basement due to the air conditioning. So with that in mind this all works out for me.
Lucky me there is a window right above me. Opening it was like have the freezer blow frozen air in my face. SERIOUS GRINS HERE PEOPLE.

Sorry for all the reading, I just want my worklog to stay excited as I am.

Great work so far ! well done.

I did notice something .

You have taken the 'feet' off of your receiver. As installed , in the desk , you'll get no airflow for convective cooling even with the top off.You need a little space at the bottom , or forced airflow.

Very perceptive of you. However on the account of airflow I have drilled 1/2 holes in the surrounding intake areas located on the bottom of the Stereo. Thus the airflow is present.

Breaking news!!!
I love the 9950.... it's clocked at 3.315Ghz, Stable as my desk thus far.

Pardon me Sir, do you know how fast you were going?

You were going 198 km/h, SIR.

That's pretty good for a desk

Nice job! It's Seismic! Just be aware of airflow.
