The best way to promote your LAN and let the world know about it.

“Plan the LAN” provides you with the tools you need to set up your future LAN party and connect with your friends. We take the hard work out of planning your LAN party by:

•collecting entrance fees for your LAN
•providing an assortment of prizes* that will be shipped to the host’s doorstep in time for the LAN
•sending out invitations to your LAN
•sending a confirmation email to all attending gamers once the LAN has received it’s minimum number of required gamers

*based on entrance fees and minimum number of gamers

You choose where and when you want to host your LAN, what games you want to play and how many people you want to attend; the rest can be left to us at “Plan the LAN”. Entrance fees will not be charged until the minimum number of gamers have committed to attending. If the LAN is cancelled before this number is reached, all money will be refunded to each gamer.

If you don’t want to host a LAN with entrance fees, that’s okay too! You can still use our site as a planning tool, but there won’t be an ability to choose prizes to hand out.

Bring back the LAN - plan your LAN today!

A Beta will be available at the end of September 2013 and if you would like access to the beta please do these two things:

● Sign up for our email list on our website - PlanTheLan
● Send an email to info@planthelan.com stating that you would like to be included in the Beta

Please feel free to ask any more questions.

I'm Steve and I approved this message.... ;)

Just a quick note before we get reported post emails on this...

Since it appears to be a fledgling business it was initially left in moderation as we normally don't allow business' to self-promote (spam), but after a few PMs were exchanged it was decided that their intention was also to provide a resource for folks to do a Lan Checklist of their own and thus was enough of a grey area to allow it to be posted.

This is by no means an endorsement ( I/we have no real way of confirming their intentions ), but on the surface it has the potential to be a valuable tool for anybody interested in hosting their own Lan.

Progress update:

Hello everyone;

I would just like to tell everyone that we are getting even closer to our beta launch, which will be in late September. Yesterday we posted a picture of the back end design concept on facebook, that we are currently working on day and night.

If you would like to help support us and stay up-to-date on our progress please "like" our page: Plan the Lan

Please feel free to ask more questions and give us suggestions of how we could make the planning a LAN experience more enjoyable and easier.

Thanks
Plan the Lan

Where's the beta?

It is the end of September and we're afraid we don't yet have a beta for you to play with. Our product is not yet ready to be released. However, we would like to give you a taste so here is a link to a video of us using a very basic version of the Plan the LAN application: Beta Video

Even though it has not yet been released to the masses, we will be releasing it to a LAN party hosting group in Victoria, BC so that we can work closely with them on improving our product and building the most useful tools for hosting a LAN party. At this time, our focus is on helping big LAN centres and providing them with the tools they need to organize and run medium to large sized LAN parties.

If you would like access to the beta and are running medium to large sized LAN parties please contact us at info@planthelan.com

Photos and feedback of Plan the LAN being used at actual LAN parties soon to come!
