BC road trip to Alberta??
 

I'm seriously thinking of going to both Fragapalooza and Lanageddon this summer...

I don't really wanna pay the $200 to fly there however it would be kinda boring driving up there by myself.
I say we plan a Vancouver road trip out there. I've only got a Yaris so it won't hold much but I am willing to drive as long as people pitch in for gas :biggrin:
I can probably take 2 others with me (3 if we don't mind being squishy)

Sounds like it could be fun. And if we go through my hometown and need to crash for the night, then there's a place.

I'm in. What are the dates? I "MAY" be getting a car this summer, but probably not till the start of July

Well not sure when Fragapalooza (Edmonton) is... The HC post says July 24 - 27 but their website says August 7 - 10...
Lanageddon (Calgary) runs May 23 - 25 so that's pretty soon. I would love to go to both of them but I'm not sure if I can. If I were to opt out of one of them it would be Lanageddon seeing as it's so soon.

Lanageddon is supposed to be pretty good. I've been trying to make it for a couple years now.

oh yeah? hmm perhaps I shall try to go then. Depending on how many people wanna go and also depending on whether or not I can get the days off at work, I might just fly there...
Then do the 'road trip' to Fragapalooza in August or July or whenever it is...
However if there is enough interest, I'd still be willing to drive to Lanageddon.

Indeed. It's also exciting to see a couple big LANs going here (Vancouver) in the summer.

Your Yaris will easily hold on the roads out this way. I drive them annually and they are continually getting better. There is a new bridge that knocks off 1/2 hour through the Rockies.

I can't make Lanageddon but I can work towards Fragapalooza.
