Default CapLAN 14

The CapLAN crew will be hosting out 14th CapLAN on May 17th-18th.

We will be bringing in sponsors this time in order to get a few prize tournaments for select games. We will be tweaking the floor plan to hold 85 people this time. More news as it comes.

Default Sweet

Cool, count me in too! It would be cool to attend a well established LAN party and see how it is run.
on a slightly different subject... anyone planning on going to any of the Alberta LANs??
I would love to go to at least one of them...
Look forward to seeing you and Carl there Paul!

I'll come if I'm around (and not busy). As for Alberta LANs, I may be going, but if so, it'll mean I went home for the summer.

CapLAN is proud to announce the series FIRST sponsors. Up until this date we have gone souly on our own steam with the help of the Capilano College Student Union. CapLAN is already the longest running and funnest lan in Vancouver, but now we want to make it better.

Our First ever sponsors are:

NCIX - A locally driven computer parts store with the largest selection and some of the lowest prices around. They are a huge help to the gaming community.

CPU Mag One of the best hardware junky magazines out there.

Alienware - Dells' well known high performance gaming machine manufacturer.

NCIX and Alienware will be providing some some general swag (details to come) and CPU Mag will provide a copy for everyone as well as a free 3 month subscription. We are looking forward to our relationship with these sponsors and are excited to being them to our Lan. We will keep you posted on any updates with other sponsors and we will post the swag list ASAP.

LML2 is for 2009.

caplan 14 is just a week and a half away. this will be the first time that we host a caplan with hardware tournament. Im expecting this to be a great event. (don't worry this is not our first time with prizes though) we are half full with registrations and there will be lots of last minute people. If you want in just sent your handle, name and email to cap_lan@hotmail.com to reserve your spot now.
